Hilliard Advantage

We want to invite you to become part of a complimentary program designed to inspire loyalty between residents of the local community and Hilliard based businesses like yours. The Hilliard Advantage was developed and launched in 2009 by the city to benefit local residents by making products and services more affordable here at home, while assisting local businesses by expanding their customer base in this economy. It is truly a unique program that we believe will be a win-win for our community.

In 2010 Destination Hilliard took over implementation of the Hilliard Advantage program. In addition and new to the program this year, when conferences, meetings, large events and groups come into Hilliard, they will be issued a temporary Hilliard Advantage card with a listing of participating restaurants that are offering discounts/specials. This card will be given out upon check-in at the hotels along with a Visitors Guide.

A website has been established to facilitate the program at www.HilliardAdvantage.com . Through this website, residents can learn about discounts and incentives offered to them when they shop at businesses located within the city limits. Businesses who wish to participate in this voluntary program must be willing to offer a special incentive or discount to residents of Hilliard.

You are invited to join the program by e-mailing destination Hilliard at cclark@destinationhilliard.com. You will receive a unique login name and password to register on the website. Once you login, you should update your company information by clicking on the “Manage My Incentives” tab. In the profile section you will list company information, describe your business and the incentive you will offer Hilliard residents. You also must change your status from inactive to active. A listing for your company will then appear on the site for residents to search. To promote the program and your involvement, you will receive a program sticker that you can place on your business’s door to identify the business as a participating member. We encourage you to update your incentives frequently.

The citizens of Hilliard received special identification cards with the Hilliard Advantage logo that they will be able to present to you in order to receive the special incentive. The citizens will know of your participation through your listing on the website and the sticker on your door. It is your prerogative whether or not you require them to present their identification card.

It is our sincere hope that you will be an active participant and that you will embrace the program as a way to promote your business to residents. Residents are “our best ambassadors” in promoting all Hilliard has to offer the central Ohio area.
