Heritage Tour – History comes alive as you experience stepping back in time

Tour the Historical Village at Weaver Park which features historic Hilliard Station, caboose, signal lights, one room school house, log cabin, chapel, gazebo, granary, barn, covered bridge, privy and a large museum.

Tour the Early Television Museum, the only one in the United States. Over 150 TV sets are on display in a 4200 square foot area. Displays include mechanical TVs from the 1920s and 30s; pre-1945 British sets from 1936-39; pre-1945 American sets from 1939-41; postwar sets from1945-58; and early color sets from 1953-57. Many of these sets are working. The Dave Johnson collection of early television picture tubes is also on display, along with early TV studio equipment. In addition you can see a working 60 line flying spot scanner TV camera. Visitors can see their friends as they would have appeared on mechanical television in 1930. Some of the prewar, rare postwar and early color sets can be operated by visitors using pushbuttons located throughout the museum.

Adventure Tour

Start your day walking the Rails to Trails, a multipurpose 6.1 mile trail which stretches between Hilliard and Plain City. The trail head is located in historic Hilliard. Along the trail you will pass Homestead Park which is known for its bluebirds.

Next, your tour takes you to Aquatic Adventures of Ohio, a full-service scuba and swim center which offers a full array of swim and scuba programs, all conducted in an 18,000 square foot aquatic center. The facility is the premier aquatic center in the Midwest featuring two pools, over 4,000 square feet of retail space and state of the art amenities throughout for your every convenience.

Girls Getaway

Ladies bring your friends for a stress free weekend and enjoy spa services at one of our fine salons. Then off to lunch and a “flick” at Movie Tavern. Next you can unleash your creative side at Outside the Lines Creative Project. Enjoy a latte while painting a dish, mug or other item in your favorite colors and designs. Finish your day with a wine tasting and fine dinner.
